Shaping Youth Through Discipline and Purpose

A Youth-Centric Foundation Using Sport As A Force For Social Transformation

Yakshit Yuva Foundation is a humanitarian, non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people through a structured blend of sports, education, and community engagement. Our work is rooted in the belief that sport—when guided by discipline, ethics, and values—can shape not only strong athletes, but responsible, resilient, and socially conscious citizens.

We work primarily with children and youth from rural, marginalised, and underprivileged backgrounds, using Taekwondo and allied initiatives as tools for character building. Our approach goes beyond physical training. We integrate education support, life skills, leadership development, self-defence, and mental well-being into every programme we run.

The Beginning

The journey commenced in 2012 with the establishment of Kakati Taekwondo Sports Academy. Founded with a focus on disciplined training in Taekwondo, the academy laid the foundation for structured sports education and athlete development at the grassroots level.

Strengthening Identity

In 2014, the academy was rebranded as Sai Taekwondo Institute, reflecting a growing commitment to formal training systems, improved coaching frameworks, and broader engagement with young athletes across the region.

Expanding the Vision

With the expansion of multiple Taekwondo training centres, the organisation adopted a broader perspective and was rebranded as Yuva Sports Institution.

Focused Excellence

In 2019, the training framework was consolidated under Rao’s Yuva Academy, allowing for sharper focus on excellence and athlete mentoring.

A National Commitment

Marking a decade of sustained work, the academy transitioned into Yakshit Yuva Foundation, integrating sports with education and youth empowerment nationally.
